What We Do

We provide targeted training and development to break the cycle of isolation for underdeveloped, outermost, and frontier communities.

Reaching the Underdeveloped, Outermost, and Frontier

Our primary beneficiaries are communities living in Indonesia’s 3T regions (Tertinggal, Terluar, and Terdepan). These areas include remote small islands, overlooked border regions, and hard-to-reach inland communities.

These individuals are directly affected by unequal infrastructure and limited access to information, which severely hinders their progress. The lack of learning and training opportunities becomes a significant barrier to their personal development and an improved quality of life.

Through our programs, we aim to reach and empower these marginalized communities, opening up new opportunities and helping them break free from isolation.

A Closer Look at Who We Support

    🎓 Educational Institutions

This category targets institutions with an urgent need to improve the quality and relevance of their education. This includes schools, madrasahs, and vocational centers in areas with limited access to modern facilities, technology, or up-to-date resources. We address issues like outdated curriculum and provide training in innovative pedagogical methods and digital skills. By supporting these institutions, our goal is to strengthen the local education ecosystem and produce graduates who are ready to contribute to their region’s development.

Our Programs: Building Skills, Creating Futures

    Intensive Teachers Training

In Indonesia, educational weaknesses persist in the areas of recruitment, coaching, and continuous professional development.

The Intensive Teacher Training Program is an initiative designed to address the need for improved teaching skills among educators. This program is based on the observation that many teachers may lack a relevant educational background or have not yet completed their bachelor’s degree studies. This can lead to a gap in understanding and applying practical pedagogical principles in the teaching process.

Many studies, including those conducted by organizations like the RISE Programme in Indonesia, have found a significant relationship between a teacher’s academic qualifications and their pedagogical competence. Teachers with a non-educational background tend to focus more on the transfer of knowledge (cognitive) rather than on the holistic development of students’ skills and character, which is a crucial aspect of modern education.

The main objective of this program is to enhance teachers’ knowledge and insights as educators significantly and to sharpen their skills through the implementation of a specific and measurable action plan. Ultimately, this is expected to improve the quality of classroom learning, creating a more effective and engaging learning environment for students.

    Intensive Community Training

Professionals and NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) Training

In Indonesia, many young people and adults face barriers to entering the workforce due to a lack of relevant skills, guidance, and access to structured training. This is particularly evident among professionals who need to upskill to remain competitive and among NEET youth, who are not engaged in education, employment, or training. Without intervention, these groups risk being excluded from economic opportunities and contributing less to their communities’ growth.

The Intensive Community Training Program is designed to bridge these gaps by providing structured learning opportunities that focus on practical skills, employability, and entrepreneurship. Unlike traditional education pathways, this program emphasizes hands-on training, mentorship, and direct exposure to industry practices.

    Objectives

    • For Professionals:

      • Enhance soft and hard skills needed in a rapidly evolving job market.

      • Provide targeted training in leadership, digital literacy, communication, and sector-specific competencies.

      • Support career advancement through coaching and professional development plans.

    • For NEET Youth:

      • Offer foundational training to reintegrate them into education or work pathways.

      • Build practical skills in areas such as digital economy, small business management, and vocational trades.

      • Develop personal growth, confidence, and resilience through character-building modules.

    Approach

The program combines intensive workshops, community-based projects, and mentorship networks. By working directly with industry practitioners and local leaders, participants gain not only technical expertise but also the confidence and mindset needed to thrive in professional and entrepreneurial environments.

    Expected Impact

    • For professionals: stronger career mobility, higher competitiveness in the labor market, and increased leadership within their organizations.

    • For NEET youth: reduced unemployment, improved self-reliance, and greater participation in local economic development.

Ultimately, this program aims to break cycles of exclusion and build pathways to sustainable livelihoods, while strengthening the overall resilience of communities across Indonesia.
