CIANJUR, February 7 – Transformation is rarely a sprint; it is a dedicated marathon of small, consistent steps. This was the core theme of the recently concluded Mini Conference, where 14 local students took the stage to present the culmination of their one-month intensive development journey.

Hosted through a strategic synergy between the Bernilai Foundation, Sajiwa Foundation, and Nurul Islam Foundation, the event served as a powerful testament to what happens when youth are given the right platform, mentorship, and psychological support.

Building a Supportive Ecosystem

The conference opened with a strong message of unity. Representatives from the three hosting foundations delivered opening remarks that highlighted a shared mission: creating a supportive ecosystem where the younger generation can thrive.

The Bernilai Foundation believes that youth development cannot happen in isolation. By collaborating with Sajiwa and Nurul Islam, we aim to provide a holistic environment that balances skill-building with character development.

Navigating the Future: Mental Resilience

A major highlight of the day was an insightful keynote session by Ms. Nira Wulansari, M.Psi., Psikolog. In her presentation, “Youth and the Future,” she addressed the psychological landscape of today’s teenagers.

Ms. Nira emphasized that “future readiness” isn’t just about technical skills—it’s about mental resilience. She provided the students with practical tools to navigate modern challenges, ensuring they are not just prepared for the workforce, but also for the emotional complexities of adulthood.

The “One-Month Journey” Presentations

The energy in the room shifted to pure inspiration as the 14 students took center stage. Each student presented their “One-Month Journey”, a detailed account of the personal milestones, challenges, and goals they pursued over the last 30 days.

From overcoming the fear of public speaking to mastering new organizational habits, the presentations showcased a diverse range of growth. To ensure this progress continues, each student received personalized, constructive feedback from a panel of mentors. These sessions were specifically designed to “level up” their communication and presentation skills, turning a school-level performance into a professional-grade delivery.

“Watching these 14 students give their best performance on stage was truly inspiring,” shared a representative from the Bernilai Foundation. “This conference is not just an event, but a stepping stone for their future endeavors.”

A Commitment to Tomorrow

As the event drew to a close, the Sajiwa, Bernilai, and Nurul Islam Foundations reaffirmed their long-term commitment. The success of this Mini Conference is not an endpoint, but a beginning.

We are dedicated to continuing these programs, ensuring that every young person has the opportunity to find their voice, sharpen their skills, and step confidently into a brighter, more empowered future.
