Cianjur, December 2025 — Education is often seen as a straight line from school to work, but for many 12th graders in underserved areas, that line is blurred by a lack of guidance and self-certainty.

From December 16–18, in Kubang Village, Cianjur, Sajiwa and Bernilai joined forces to clear that path. The Personal Growth Bootcamp was not just a training session; it was the launchpad for a new generation of independent leaders.
The Strategy: Building the Foundation First
While many programs jump straight into technical skills, our baseline data (P0) showed that students first needed a stronger internal foundation. With an initial self-awareness score of 2.5/5.0 at the assessment, it was clear that the most effective way to help these students was to focus on Phase 1: Independence.

By mastering these soft skills first, we ensure that when these students eventually learn hard skills, they have the character and discipline to use them effectively.
The 4 Pillars of the Bootcamp
Over three intensive days, the students moved through a curriculum designed to transform their mindset and their methodology:
1. Self-Awareness & Vision
Using the Personal SWOT Analysis, students mapped their internal strengths and external threats. They moved beyond simple goal setting by using the “3 Aspects” Framework:
- Experience: What do they want to feel and experience in their lives?
- Growth: How must they evolve as individuals?
- Contribution: How can they give back to their families and their village?

2. Public Speaking & Vision Boards
Goals are only dreams until they are visualized. Students brought their 3-Aspect plans to life through Creative Vision Boards, presenting their future selves to their peers. This exercise turned abstract desires into a concrete, public commitment.
3. Effective Communication
We tackled the “Confidence Gap” head-on. Through workshops on Active Listening and Persuasive Storytelling, students learned that communication isn’t just about talking—it’s about connecting, understanding, and influencing their environment.

4. Innovation through Teamwork
Authentic leadership happens in groups. Using Problem-Based Design, students worked in teams to identify real-world issues in their community and brainstormed innovative solutions. This taught them that their skills are most powerful when used to help others.
From “The Spark” to “The Flame”: What’s Next?
The three days in Kubang Village were just the beginning. The Action Plan Journals filled during the bootcamp are now being put to the test.

We are excited to announce that all participants are now moving into Step 2: The 4-Month Mentorship Program. During this phase:
- Students will meet with mentors to track their Growth Actions.
- The Daily Journals will be used to measure real-time behavior change.
- The initial baseline data will be compared against their progress to ensure no student is left behind.

We don’t just want them to find jobs;
We want them to find their power.
This bootcamp proved that when you give a student the tools to understand themselves, their potential becomes limitless.
